The Current Range
At the time of writing, in June 2010, Citroen's current range has just undergone an extensive refurbishment.
For the UK market, the C2, original C3, C4 Coupe, Xsara Picasso, original Berlingo, Pluriel and C8 have all recently been put out to pasture, although all (except the C2) still appear on Citroen's French website. The DS3 has recently been released, and the new C3 is starting to be seen on the streets in anger.
To make sense of the range, it's probably easiest to split them into two categories - "cars" and "people carriers". The C1 seems to have survived the Toyota throttle pedal scandal with reputation untouched, not least because relatively few high-spec examples fitted with the affected drive-by-wire pedal were sold in the UK. First pictures of the next generation C4 are starting to appear on news websites. The C5 has survived the move from "new model" to established contender relatively unscathed. The C6 continues to head the range, sitting in distinguished and truly exclusive splendour with the new 3.0 v6 diesel engine.
Of the people carriers, we've got the choice of C3 Picasso (still with no autobox, though - I'd have thought that a big seller in this market?), C4 Picasso & Grand Picasso alongside the van-based Nemo & Berlingo multispace and - for the minibus market - "Combi" versions of the Dispatch & Relay vans. Then there's the C-Crosser...
